ABOUT

About Us

Soleil Renewable Energy is a grid-scale HYBRID power plant developer in

Southern California.

Our current portfolio of early stage projects is located in East Kern County, approximately 90 miles North of Los Angeles.

Hybrid Power Plant

Hybrid power plants that combine both photovoltaic (PV) and battery technologies are becoming increasingly popular for generating electricity. PV systems generate electricity from the sun's rays using solar panels, while battery systems store excess electricity produced by the PV system for later use.

The combination of PV and battery technologies allows for more consistent and reliable power generation. During periods of high sunlight, the PV system generates excess electricity which is stored in the battery system. During periods of low sunlight, or at night, the battery system can be used to provide electricity to the grid.

This hybrid approach can help to address some of the challenges associated with solar power, such as intermittent power generation due to changes in weather or daylight hours. It also allows for greater flexibility in managing electricity supply and demand, and can help to reduce reliance on fossil fuels.

Overall, hybrid power plants that combine PV and battery technologies offer a promising solution for generating clean and reliable electricity.

WHY

Why Solar Energy?

Solar energy power plants are becoming increasingly popular due to their many benefits. Here are a few reasons why solar energy power plants are a great choice:

  1. Renewable Energy: Solar energy is a renewable source of energy that is available in abundance. It is a clean and sustainable source of power that does not emit harmful pollutants or greenhouse gases.

  2. Reduced Energy Costs: Installing a solar energy power plant can significantly reduce energy costs, especially in areas with high electricity rates. Once installed, solar panels require minimal maintenance and can last for up to 25-30 years.

  3. Energy Independence: Solar energy power plants can provide energy independence and security by reducing dependence on external energy sources. This is particularly important for remote areas without access to grid power.

  4. Job Creation: The installation, operation, and maintenance of solar energy power plants create jobs in various sectors, including engineering, construction, and installation.

  5. Reduced Carbon Footprint: By using solar energy, we can reduce our carbon footprint and contribute to the fight against climate change.

FOCUSED AROUND FAST CHARGING ELECTRIC VEHICLE (EV) STATIONS

An EV fast charger is a type of electric vehicle (EV) charging station that is designed to provide a high amount of power to quickly charge an electric vehicle's battery. Unlike Level 1 and Level 2 chargers, which are typically found at home or in public parking lots, EV fast chargers can provide a significant amount of charge in a short amount of time. There are a few different types of EV fast chargers, including DC universal fast chargers and Tesla Superchargers.

The main difference between Tesla Superchargers and universal fast chargers is that Tesla Superchargers are designed specifically for Tesla vehicles, while universal fast chargers are compatible with a variety of electric vehicle makes and models.

Tesla Superchargers are designed to provide a very high power output to quickly charge Tesla vehicles, and they can charge a Tesla vehicle from empty to around 80% in just 30-40 minutes. They are typically located along major highways and in popular travel destinations to make long-distance travel more feasible for Tesla drivers. However, they are not compatible with other EV makes and models.

Universal fast chargers, on the other hand, are designed to be compatible with a variety of electric vehicle makes and models. They typically have different charging connectors to accommodate different types of vehicles, and they can provide a range of power outputs depending on the specific charger. Universal fast chargers are typically found in public parking lots, shopping centers, and other public spaces, and they can typically charge an electric vehicle from empty to around 80% in 30-60 minutes.

UNIVERSAL EV FAST CHARGERS

EV Fast Charging Station

An EV without a network of Fast Chargers is like a gas-powered car without a network of gas stations.

EV Fast Charging Stations are what allows EV drivers to take a trip to Mammoth or Yosemite, drive to Las Vegas, or take an overnight camping trip to Redrock Canyon State Park.

Simply Put:
FAST CHARGING STATIONS ARE THE GAS STATIONS OF THE FUTURE
